Hoy tienes cursos bien pagados en universidades de todo el mundo, generalmente de maestría o doctorado, para graduarte en gestión cultural. Ese es el instalamiento pleno del capitalismo en la cultura. Y a mi juicio, esa entrada del capitalismo ha generado dos tipos de artistas. Por un lado, los que venden sus productos, junto con su alma, y producen exclusivamente lo que se compra. Y, por el otro, los que venden sus productos, pero no su alma. Los que venden su alma son mercado. No considero lo que hacen arte. Cuando el capitalismo entra plenamente en el artista, la obra se vuelve de acomodación, de adaptación. Y deja de ser inquietante.
