"Rojo" is Wil Volador's second album for this year. After merging with the sounds extracted from the tools enabled by government support, we see the non-musician now immerse himself in a 39-minute journey through ambient, IDM and visionary sounds armed with software and diverse synths.

"Without music some of us would die" (Pascal Quignard). And this statement is very palpable in the present document infused with passion for sound, counterculture and the beauty of the abolition of the ego. All utopias. An album where Butes and Serapio 7 Balas are the heroes who will take us out of the collective mud to be hyperreal. Even if it's just one fucking time in existence.

“Mi media naranja” nos recibe en este cóctel sensorial que combina de manera gloriosa lo ácido de un ruidismo bien ejecutado y lo dulce de unas pulsaciones juguetonas que harían sonrojar tanto a Aphex Twin como a Labradford. “Serapio 7 balas” suelta al oyente en el medio de un tiroteo láser que podría venir del siglo XXX para ir penetrando en lo que parece ser la psique del personaje del título; distintas voces resonando en la cabeza mientras su cerebro se llena de miel interdimensional. El “Butes” de WGA también se deja llevar por sus pasiones, en este caso la mitología se deja de lado para dar lugar a los cuestionamientos de la hipercomercial cultura imperante mientras la voz humana se va desvaneciendo y nos sumergimos junto con las sirenas en un océano de sonido y su canto evoluciona a ruido blanco. “Ritornelo” le quita la cadena a un sediento can sonoro en una concisa composición que es seguida por “Gracias Spacetime Continuum”, la cual rinde tributo a los maestros del psybient del mismo nombre en un neocósmico mantra para un futurista chamán andino. Una irregular percusión casi zen abre la pista homónima del álbum, una meditación electrónica que va mutando en la que es de lejos la pista más inmersiva de todo el trabajo. Una oda a la innovación musical sin un ego que ensucie la inmaculada belleza de este ambient IDM.
