Avalonia was an ethereal post-rocker band from Lima, Perú of middle 1990's.
The group consisted of Wilder Gonzales and Fernando Ponce, although they begun with other 2 folks from those times, Fabián Escalante (from Diosmehaviolado) and Oscar Pita (who later would play some rehearsals with Hipnoascensión).

Avalonia, as most avantgarde and post-rock groups from the time, was part of the movement called Crisálida Sónica burn in Perú.

The band played only one concert in January 1997 and a radio session sometime in 1996 which are released here for the first time in years.

Wilder Gonzales Agreda: breath, globes, guitar, drums, maracas, field recordings, lyrics and voice.

Fernando Ponce: guitar, zampoña, effects, palo de lluvia and chorus.

Assisted by Wilmer Ruiz Perea on keyboards and Cristian Reaño on Niña Flor's percussion.

Recorded sometime in 1996 and January of 1997.
