Avalonia was an ethereal post-rocker band from Lima, Peru in the mid-1990s.

The group was made up of Wilder Gonzales and Fernando Ponce, although they started with 2 others from the time, Fabián Escalante (of Diosmehaviolado) and Oscar Pita (who would later play some rehearsals with Hipnoascensión).

Avalonia, like most of the avant-garde and post-rock groups of the time, was part of the movement called Crisálida Sónica original from Peru.

The band played only one concert in January 1997 and one radio session sometime in 1996 both of which are posted here for the first time in years.
